MOODY STREET PICTURES MOVES TO SUPPORT NON-PROFITS
Moody Street Pictures has directed its sales and product development force to collaborate on creating a range of communications tools tailored to the needs of non-profits, and other organizations which depend upon grants and donations to keep operations going. Moody Street Pictures will create customized content for these organizations with the goal of improving their fund-raising results. "We are basically systematizing our approach to these types of jobs to better serve our clients," said Steve Sera, VP of Production at Moody Street Pictures. "Non-profits need to communicate their uniqueness to impress donors to give. We think price should not be a barrier to their access to high-quality creative and production services."
Moody Street Pictures recognized the value of their approach when they were building their successful bid for Community Music Center of Boston, which will celebrate its 100 year anniversary and wanted a signature piece for its new Capital Campaign. Ted Resnikoff, Creative Director of Moody Street Pictures, comments, "Speaking with CMCB we heard that production companies treated them like just another client, but for CMCB the project wasn't to make a video - it was to express their essence. Our challenge was to figure out a way to give this client individual treatment at an institutional price."
Erich Mettler, CFO of Moody Street Pictures, added, "CMCB open bid the job to a number of local production companies. We approached this challenge from the strength of our diversity and created a strong creative and price package which the client preferred." Sera added, "Moody Street Pictures' systematic approach to bidding and creative lowers client costs and guarantees the creation of innovative and effective fund-raising tools."
